Ngawang Gyatso squinted into the bright shaft of sunlight bathing the Harmony School stage, then apologized for being a bit bleary-eyed after some long hours of work this week at Bloomington's Tibetan Cultural Center.

Dalai Lama Launches U.S. Tour With USF Speech

The Dalai Lama brought a message of hope to a Jesuit-run university where he collected an honorary degree Friday and launched a 16-day U.S. tour that also will take him to Boston, New York, and Washington D.C. to meet with members of the Bush administration.
