Barcelona, May 26 – The Tibet House foundation of Barcelona joined 56000 runners in a marathon on Sunday here. The 10 kilometer marathon was organized by the largest super market chain in Spain, El corte ingles” and the municipality of the Catalonian city.
Tibetans and supporters wore “FREE TIBET” “TIBET IS NOT CHINA” T-shirts and ran the marathon event. Some Tibet supporters ran the entire route with a huge Tibetan National Flags.
The Casa del Tibet (Tibet House foundation) distributed more than 600 ‘Save Tibet’ head bands for the runners.
The runners shouted, “Free Tibet ” Tibet Libre”, as they ran past supporters on the roadside carrying Tibetan national flags and banners.
