The first lady of Peru, Eliane Karp Toledo, called upon Tibet’s spiritual and temporal leader the His Holiness the Dalai Lama in Dharamsala on Friday. Eliane is currently in India participating in a conference of "Dialogue among Civilisations" in New Delhi. In the meeting that lasted about 30 minutes, Mrs. Eliane and the Dalai Lama discussed on solving religious intolerance in the world. Mrs. Eliane also briefed the Dalai Lama the current situation in Peru. Her daughter, Chantal, is also accompanying for her two-day stay in Dharamsala.
