All contestants of the second Miss Tibet beauty contest, which commences here on October 8, will reach the town tomorrow. Mr Lobsang Wangyal, Chief Organiser of the contest said, here today the contestants would undergo a week-long rehearsal from tomorrow.

Kalon Tripa Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche visits Southern California

Tibetan Association of Southern California invited Kalon Tripa Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche during his visit near the city. On Sept 27th 2003 Sat. 8.00pm Samdhong Rinpoche met members of Tibetan Association of Southern California. Rinpoche briefed them on the policies of the KASHAG and the role of the Tibetan Government in Exile and people. Following his talk questions were asked 1) Recent issue of Kahsag and Chithue on TIBET FUND. 2) Regarding GADHEN PHODRANG CHOG-LAE NAMGYAL. 3) Recent delegation to China and Tibet. 4) Regarding Middle Path policy. 5) Tibet support Groups demanding on Tibet Independent, 6) Tibetan Support Group conference in Chex. His Holiness to Attend ‘Bumtsok’

Fifteen Years of Dedication to the Cause of Tibet

The Associazione Italia-Tibet celebrated the fifteenth anniversary since its establishment in 1988 last weekend on 27th and 28th September. The event was celebrated in the wonderful setting of Tibet House in Votigno di Canossa, near Reggio Emilia.
