Kathmandu May 17 – Global Vigil for the Panchen Lama of Tibet was concluded peacefully and observed by many local Tibetan, Nepalese, foreigner and press person here in Boudha stupa, Kathmandu, Nepal.

It is well known fact that this is some kind of hard task done by us (dokpo.com’s friends). It is not an easy task for any people to organize such event in Nepal than any of world’s country because government of Nepal is very strict against any kind of Tibet related activities here in Nepal. But we are proud to announce the success of our event (Global Vigil for Panchen Lama of Tibet) with great support from our people.

The event was started around 6:00pm with distributing pamphlets and poster of H. H. the 11th Panchen Lama. Around 700 to 800 posters and pamphlets were distributed among the people then followed by light of more than 3,500 candles. Among the 3,500 candles, 1,000 candles was donated by one unknow Tibetan. Thanks dear and thanks for your support to this unknow person. Also we are confident that in future, we will able to get more support from our Tibetan people of Nepal.

Around 7:30 pm dokpo.com’s friends met our Tibetan press persons, followed by few minutes chit chats with them. Minutes later, we concluded our event around 8:30pm.

Lastly, we would like to convey our heartfelt thanks everyone who were there in the event with us. Also our special thanks goes to Ven. Jamphel Laksang, Dawa, Dawa Phuntsok, Tsering Dorjee (SS), Thupten, Karma, Santosh, Raju, Ang Sherpa, Pema, and rest of our friends for making the event great succeed.
