Tibet House Foundation in Barcelona (Spain) organized its first ever seminar on ‘Tibetan Medicine & Astrology’ from 25th to 27th of September 2009. The seminar was attended by five eminent Tibetan doctors- Dr. Lobsang Shrestha, Dr. Tsering Choezom, Dr. Tsewang Tamdin, Dr. Nida Chenagtsang and Dr. Lobsang Tsultrim.
Tibetan Medicine and Astrology is one of the great historical heritages of Humankind for the betterment of physical health and spiritual wellbeing.
Ven. Thupten Wangchen, director of the Barcelona Tibet House Foundation, delivered the opening speech and welcomed all the doctors and public followed by screening of a documentary film “The knowledge of healing” in the presence of all the invited doctors.
The seminar was attended by about 80 Spanish guests. It served as an introduction to the importance and depth of the Tibetan medicine’s theories and practice.
As part of the dissemination of this unique Tibetan science, with support from Tibet House Dr. Tamdin & Dr. Tsering Choezom will organize ‘two weeks consultation camp’ for the general public after the seminar.
