Kashag Mourns the Demise of a Diplomat Lama

One of the most revered Buddhist figures of Ladakh, Kyabje Bakula Rinpoche, breathed his last on the morning of 4 November. The Central Tibetan Administration held a mourning session at the Kashag hall which was attended by the Kalon Tripa and his colleagues in the Kashag and issued a statement of condolence.

His Holiness the Dalai Lama yesterday morning left Tokyo for Ise by train. At Ise, the Representatives of the Welcome Committee and the Representatives of the High Priest of Ise Shrine recieved His Holiness at Uji Yamada Station where His Holiness arrived at noon.
