RTYC Dharwad marks International Human Rights Day with protest

The 33 members of RTYC DHARWAD demonstrated to mark the International Human Rights Day. The day began with a speech from President of RTYC at around 10:30AM followed by demonstration in the main market of Dharwad. Later in the day RTYC members started blood signature campaign at Kala Bhawan. Blood campaign signature was a resolution made during the 34th TYC meeting at Shillong. A letter has been sent to 110 organisations including United Nations Gen. Sec. Kofi Anan, UN Human Rights commision Mary Robinson and IOC. The main demands of this blood signature campaign are: 1.TO RELEASE PANCHEN LAMA,THE WORLD YOUNGEST POLITICAL PRISONER. 2.TO RELAESE TRULKU TENZIN DELECK AND GESHE SONAM PHUNTSOK.. 3.TO WITHDRAWN THE 2008 OLYMPIC AT CHINA.
