DHARAMSHALA, Nov. 14: Chinese authorities are intensifying ideological indoctrination among Tibetan elementary school students through “red” re-education campaigns, Mao-centric propaganda, and military-style training, according to a new report by the Washington-based advocacy group International Campaign for Tibet (ICT).
Drawing on accounts and images from Chinese state and local propaganda outlets, the report documented how even first-grade students in Tibet are being subjected to activities designed to instil early political loyalty to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) while eroding their cultural and linguistic identity.
The report cited an incident in Medog County, southern Tibet shows uniformed personnel, including army veterans, presenting primary school children with military equipment. Photos released in Chinese state media depict an instructor displaying a QBZ-191 rapid-fire rifle, the standard weapon of China’s armed forces, to elementary-level students. ICT noted that exposure to such weaponry has no place in a normal primary school curriculum and appears geared toward normalising militarised instruction among Tibetan children.
It also highlighted a separate case in Lhasa where fourth-grade students were taken on a school-organised trip to the Mao Badge Museum under the slogan “Pass on the red heritage and strengthen the sense of community of the Chinese nation.” The museum, dedicated entirely to the worship of Chairman Mao Zedong, featured large collections of Mao pins and exhibits promoting the CCP’s revolutionary narrative. ICT stated that these “immersive learning” activities are explicitly aimed at pushing students to “internalise red culture” and absorb Party propaganda from an early age.
ICT argued that these initiatives are not isolated but part of a wider state strategy to weaken Tibetan language, cultural identity, and religious values by replacing them with enforced loyalty to the CCP. The report warned that Beijing’s approach seeks to cultivate a generation of Tibetan youth who are politically compliant, nationalistic in the mould defined by the Party, and accustomed to the presence of military figures in their education.
“The Communist Party’s policies aim to indoctrinate Tibetan students, prepare them for military service, and effectively cut off ties to their Tibetan heritage, language, and in many cases, their family,” ICT wrote.
The rights group emphasised that such policies violate the basic rights of Tibetan children to cultural preservation, linguistic freedom, and an education free from political coercion. ICT called on the international community to urgently hold the Chinese government accountable for its increasingly intrusive and coercive treatment of Tibetan youth.
This is abominable! Tibetan children who are by nature gentle and compassionate are now turned into communist demons. Communism is a curse to humanity. It has been the single most deadly ideology which glamourises violence and hate as the central theme of its goal! It has killed more human beings than any other ideology in human history. Communist China has killed 80 million people under its dictatorship, Cambodia’s Pol Pot murdered three million, Stalin murdered about four million, The shining path Maoists in Peru, Communist regimes of all Eastern European countries have killed thousands of their citizens and plunged their countries into totalitarian nightmares where they were herded like animals, North Korea killed thousands, Maoists in Nepal have killed thousands in their attempt to gain power in Nepal. In India, the People’s War group in Central India (Madhiya Pradesh) and Naxalites have killed thousands of innocent people in their insurgency against the Indian Government. It is the most violent ideology the world has known and responsible for the death of millions across the globe. Tibetans have been a warlike people during imperial times but have become pacified after Buddhism came to Tibet in the 7th century and took root. Tibet became the most peaceful country devoting its time and energy in religious practice. It sought to built monasteries and libraries than military weapons and militarising the country. Even in Tibetan history records, writing about politics was frowned and every writing about Tibet was confined to religious history. The dedication to religious devotion was such that it totally neglected to defend the country by preparing a sizeable army for the defence of the country. it is said that Sir Charles Bell asked the 13th Dalai Lama to prepare for war as the Chinese civil war was raging in China. Tsarong Dasang Dadul was initially a favourite of the 13th Dalai Lama and he along with western educated people like Jigme Taring created a special force known as the གྲོང་དྲག་དམག་མི་ (affluent family recruit army). Unfortunately, the Kumintang used its proxies to disrupt this army by creating a conspiracy theory that Tsarong who was then the དམག་སྤྱི་ the highest military official of the Tibetan army was planning to mount a coup against the Dalai Lama to seize political power by building a powerful military force! Dasang Dadul was demoted and the army was disbanded! This is how the Chinese constantly attempted to disrupt and destroy anything the Tibetans were doing right to suit their evil design. It seems there were Tibetans who were useful idiots who sold their souls to the enemy even in those days. Today, the occupying Chinese regime is enforcing FORCED ASSIMILATION ON TIBET. It is determined to destroy Tibet’s unique language, culture, religion and identity to be subsumed by Chinese culture so Tibet becomes INDISTINGUISHABLE FROM THE CHINESE THEMSELVES! They are ripping off the Tibetan mentality of pacifism to violence in order to change the very outlook of Tibetan people from timid pacifist to violent revolutionaries like the Chinese communists themselves! By making them loyal to the CCP, they are planning to use them as canon fodders in an event of war against Taiwan/America and against India! Through massive dose of indoctrination, Chinese dissidents claim that their minds have been so twisted by CCP brainwashing that most Chinese CANNOT EXTRICATE THEMSELVES FROM THE CCP INDOCTRINATION! It stays with them for the rest of their lives and remain a slave to the CCP! For example, the indoctrination is so entrenched that any Chinese from China would feel themselves NOT CHINESE, unless they accept “Taiwan is a part of China”!!! IT GOES THE SAME WITH TIBET! The CCP’s FORCED ASSIMILATION POSES THE GREATEST DANGER TO THE SURVIVAL OF THE TIBETANS AS A RACE DIFFERENT FROM THE CHINESE WITH OUR OWN UNIQUE LANGUAGE, CULTURE, RELIGION AND IDENTITY!!! IT POSES EXISTENTIAL THREAT TO OUR CIVILISATION! The CCP will not stop or change tract from this evil and abominable act of genocide because it is a deliberate policy to ERASE TIBET FROM THE MEMORY OF THE TIBETAN PEOPLE AND THE WORLD AT LARGE SO THEY WOULD FEEL SAFE WITH THEIR ILL-GOTTEN TERRITORY OF TIBET FIRMLY UNDER THEIR OCCUPATION. OUR JOB THEREFORE IS TO MAKE SURE THAT THIS EVIL AMBITION OF THE DASTARDLY CHINESE COMMUNIST REGIME DOES NOT SUCCEED!!! EVERY TIBETAN HAS THE RESPONSIBILITY TO FIGHT THE EVIL THAT IS COMMUNIST CHINA AND ITS DEMONIC POLICY OF GENOCIDE IN TIBET!
