DHARAMSHALA, Dec. 30: China has deployed unmanned machine-gun mounted vehicles along the Indo-Tibet borders due to soldiers having difficulties breathing on the high-altitude Himalayas. The People’s Liberation Army (PLA) and its soldiers, according to the Daily Mail, are suited with carbon fibre exo-skeletons to help ease the weight of the loads and ammunition.
Tibet, with an average alleviation of 4500 meters, can tire out people much quicker due to lower concentration of oxygen. The robot vehicles are also deployed across Tibet, in areas far from the border, to assist the PLA soldiers to keep the Tibetan population in check with the nearing of the Beijing Olympics. Security in Tibet has recently been heightened by deploying a large number of soldiers. According to Radio Free Asia, the move was enacted after a recent announcement from China’s central Information Office on 23rd December, which will increase surveillance on visitors.
“In just a few days, greater security and restrictions have been put in place in Tibetan areas of Lhasa and in Shigatse, Chamdo, Draggo, Ngaba, and Rebkong,” source told RFA, on condition of anonymity due to security reasons.
“More than half the vehicles are in areas close to the Ladakh area where the Chinese build-up is still in evidence,” Times Now reported. China has deployed 88 Sharp Claw unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) inside Tibet, 38 of them are placed alongside the Indo-Tibet border. These remotely controlled vehicles on a war field are comparable to a combine machine on a Texas field. Times Now describes that these vehicles “can be used for reconnaissance, patrolling and transportation of weapons and logistical work in difficult terrain. It can also be fitted with weapons.”
According to the same report, an equally versatile remotely controlled vehicle called Mule-200, around 120 of these are deployed in Tibet. Around half of which are placed in the western areas.
To add further tension in the ongoing border dispute between China and India, China’s Ministry of Civil Affairs today, just few hours ago, in a statement announced what it calls “standardised” names for 15 places in India’s Arunachal Pradesh. These Chinese “official” names are to be used on Chinese maps. Ananth Krishnan, correspondent for The Hindu on China and foreign affairs, in a tweet, wrote, “This follows 6 places renamed in 2017, and ahead of a new border law coming into effect on Jan 1, 2022.”
This is an admission that the Chinese are unable to defend Tibet because they are not fit to live in the cold unforgiving heights of Tibet. Communist China is now resorting to technology to try to secure the borders of occupied Tibet. It shows, the CHINESE RACE DOES NOT BELONG IN TIBET and they have to vacate Tibet for their good and for the good of the Tibetans and the India as well.
India’s acceptance of the unsubstantiated Chinese claims over Tibet is the mother of all blunders of the mid-twentieth century. This has caused the illegal occupation of Tibet by communist China and the oppression of the Tibetan people for the last seventy years. If India had retained the much smarter and strategic British stand, India would have saved herself of calamitous Chinese threat and financial burden in defending its Northern border with Tibet. General PG. Kamath wrote in the Indian Defence Review on 23rd Sept 2015: “The British were wise strategists, when they played the “great game with Russia”. Fearing Russian communist expansion to India they earmarked Persia, Afghanistan and Tibet as buffer between them and Russia. Had India taken a page from the British, we could have had Tibet as a buffer between India and China”. It is beyond belief that Indian leaders had so little sense of defending the country even though, India was invaded and conquered by foreign powers in much of its history. As a result of the unimaginable blunder by Indian leaders after independence in 1947, India is plunged in a never ending arms race to guard itself from two radical and rogue neighbours both nuclear armed and virulently hostile to India.
China is a terrorist and fascist State according to Noam Chomsky, the well known American leftist intellectual. He says, “Terrorism is the use of coercive means aimed at civilian population in an effort to achieve political, religious or other aims”. The Chinese communists have been using brute force as a means to pacify the Tibetans, Ugyurs, Mongolians and Hong Kongers to fulfil their political objectives by mass murder and political persecution.
It’s also a fascist State: “Fascism seeks to create a national identity that eliminates differences, uniting all sectors of the population under the rubric and patronage of the State”.
According to the dictionary fascism is: “a political philosophy, movement, or regime that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a CENTRALIZED AUTOCRATIC GOVERNMENT HEADED by a dictatorial leader”. All these fits precisely with the present CCP regime which is a Han Chauvinistic entity that is erasing and scrubbing clean the religion, traditions, culture and language of all those who are under its illegal occupation. It is therefore a CRIMINAL REGIME that the whole world must boycott. The world should be congratulated for not meeting dictator Xi for the last twenty months. This must be continued to show the genocidal regime, their crimes against the Tibetans, Uyghurs, Southern Mongolians and the Hong Kongers are not acceptable to the international community.
Meanwhile, India should be wary of the Chinese activities in Tibet and prepare for the worst. It is strategically sound to prepare for the worst. It also must remember, the CCP uses propaganda to cower its opponents so they simply give up feeling it’s impossible to stand up to them. This is their strategy of peddling all sorts of inventions such as robots, hypersonic missiles, planes and mountain tanks. It is spending massive amount of money for propaganda purposes which has given them a “super power” status without being one. It’s a huge make belief like Bollywood films but there is not much to show except a well choreographed march past of the PLA like the Nazi troops of Hitler. The economy is just chugging and the reputation of communist China is at an all time low. It’s perceived by whole world as the incubator of the CCP virus and a rogue state.
Always remember communist China wages three wars.
1. public opinion war
2. Psychological warfare
3. Legal warfare. The first one seeks to influence the public understanding of a conflict by retaining support from one’s own population by degrading the opponent and influencing third parties. This is where Tibetans were dehumanised as practising “slavery” in order to justify the occupation of Tibet. The second, psychological ware fare seeks to disrupt the opponent’s decision making capacity by creating doubts, fermenting anti-leadership sentiments and generally sapping the opponents will. What China is doing to Taiwan by sending fighter jets to intimidate Taiwan and its planting of robots in Tibet are all psychological war fare against Taiwan and India. The fourth, legal war fare seeks to justify China’s own actions by portraying the the opponent’s activities as illegal, thereby creating doubts, both among the adversary and neutral military and civilian authorities and the broader population. The Chinese political councillor Zhou Yongshen termed the meeting of some Indian parliamentarians at a dinner in Delhi recently with some exile leaders as of “concern” by writing directly to the MPs. He had the audacity to call the Tibetan Government in Dharamsala “illegal”!!! The Tibetan Government in Dharamsala is the true representative of the Tibetan people. HH The Dalai Lama was the undisputed leader of Tibet and HH re-established the Government of Tibet in India when Tibet was illegally occupied by communist China in 1959. HH The Dalai Lama said at the time in Mussoorie, “where ever the Dalai Lama is based, the Tibetan people accept it as their Government”. That is the ultimate truth. Communist China is the illegal occupier and the oppressor of the Tibetan people and the exile Government is the legitimate Government of the Tibetan people. CHINA QUIT TIBET!!!
