The Regional Tibetan Youth Congress of New York and New Jersey organized a mass demonstration in front of the United Nations building in New York, marking the 16th birth anniversary of the XI Panchen Lama, the second highest spiritual leader of Tibet.

To celebrate the 16th birthday of Gedhun Choekyi Nyima, the 11th Panchen Lama, on 25th April, the Office of Tibet, Brussels, organized the traveling version of the exhibition titled "A Long Look Homeward" at the University of Louvain la Neue.
