Dharamsala, February 24 – A three-day warm up match between the Indian Cricket Board XI and the Pakistan team will be held at Dharamsala in Himachal Pradesh from March 3. His Holiness The Dalai Lama will inaugurate the first International Cricket Match at Dharamsala International Cricket Stadium.
The match, to be held at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association’s (HPCA) stadium, has already got people here excited. Anurag Thakur, president of the HPCA, said the match would give a fillip to the tourism industry of the state. HPCA has spend nearly Rs.3 million to renovate the stadium to international standards.
