DHARAMSHALA, Dec. 17: A video has surfaced showing Dang Qingfu, the principal and Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Secretary of Kangtsa County in the Tsongon region of Tibet’s Amdo province, brutally beating and kicking a young Tibetan boy.
The footage, posted by Tibet Action Institute (TAI), surfaced on Douyin, a Chinese social media platform, through three separate video clips. The incident occurred on or before November 18 at Tsokhyil Township Ethnic Boarding Primary School.
A sources inside Tibet who wished to remain anonymous for their safety informed TAI that the video was initially shared with the school’s parents’ association before going viral online. However, Tibetans were quickly prohibited from sharing the footage further. While the school claimed that Dang Qingfu was under investigation, he has reportedly continued in his role.
TAI highlighted this incident as part of a broader pattern of abuse and neglect at China’s colonial boarding schools in Tibet, where parents are often too fearful of retribution to voice concerns. The group announced that its forthcoming report, slated for early 2025, will document additional evidence of abuse. “Tibet Action Institute calls for Dang Qingfu to be immediately removed from his position and face legal charges,” the group stated.
Lhadon Tethong, Director of TAI, emphasised the vulnerability of Tibetan children forcibly placed in state-run boarding schools. “These videos show what the Chinese government doesn’t want us to see: the sometimes fatal vulnerability of Tibetan children forced to live in state-run boarding schools,” she said. ”Taking children as young as three or four away from their parents and moving them into institutions makes them extremely vulnerable to beatings, neglect, and other abuse. The Chinese government must end its colonial boarding school system in Tibet.”
Dr. Gyal Lo, a Tibetan educational sociologist and Tibet Specialist at TAI highlighted the systemic nature of the abuse. “The sense of impunity this school principal seems to have as he openly beats a Tibetan child is exactly the same sense of impunity the Chinese government appears to possess as it commits a slow form of genocide through the colonial boarding school system in Tibet,” he said. “Governments and UN bodies have sounded the alarm about colonial boarding schools in Tibet; what these children urgently need is an independent international investigation into the abuse they’re enduring.”
boarding schools are evil. Teachers and foster carers slap, kick, humiliate, shame, even sometimes beat up children so bad they had to be hospitalized, and some even die. I heard one story in TCV suja in 2005 where school headboys and headgirls beat up a girl so bad she died in hospital. Same must be happening in Tibet under Xi Jinping’s watch. United nations should investigate cases of children being physically beaten by teachers or foster parents, even if that happened 50 years ago historically, a crime is a crime. Canada and Australia has apologized for the abuses children suffered in their boarding schools, even the scar of abuse is difficult to erase.

The person who calls itself “Ten Lhamo” is one of those sneaky CCP little pinks who is trying inject confusion and normalise Chinese crimes! This is not the first time. Tibetans must realise the extend of CCP intrusion and political subterfuge to disseminate false information and influence political discourse. This person equates the Chinese communist forcible detention of Tibetan children in colonial boarding schools to that of Tibetan schools where the children are not under the custody of the Government but are living free of their own volition! In the Chinese enforced colonial schools, Tibetan children are not allowed to speak their own language, belief in their Buddha or Dalai Lama and are not even allowed to visit monasteries or see the monks! In Tibetan schools in India, Tibetan children say prayers in the morning, pray to their holy beings such as the Buddha or the Dalai Lama without fear from the prying eyes of Chinese anti-religious minders. Tibetan Children in these Chinese colonial schools are totally banned from holding any faith except Marxist communist ideology. In the Chinese colonial schools, Tibetan children are living with Chinese who look down upon them as barbarians and so they are discriminated at every level! The beating, slapping and kicking of the little toddler is just the tip of the iceberg! In exile Tibetan schools, all the staff members are Tibetans and they see the children as the future seed of Tibet and care for them with love and compassion. A Singapore based female journalist who was invited to occupied Tibet asked a young student about his spiritual belief. He said with a wry smile I have to think about it! He was too scared to speak about spirituality. Religion is anathema to the CCP. The eradication of religion and Buddhism in particular in the Tibetan context is the greatest ambition of the CCP! There is no comparison between Tibetan exile schools and Chinese enforced colonial schools which are purposely set up to destroy a culture, language and religion of the Tibetan people while the Tibetan schools are set up to preserve and promote Tibetan culture, religion and language! In short, Chinese colonial schools are founded for the fulfilment of the Chinese coloniser’s aim to destroy and obliterate a civilisation while the exile schools are founded to protect, preserve and propagate Tibetan culture, religion and language. The officials of colonial schools in occupied Tibet are alien Chinese who are cruel and inhuman (because of their communist ideology) with their Han chauvinist attitude while the exile officials who run the school are compassionate because they are their own children and hope for the future of Tibet!
These boarding schools are very similar to Canadian and Australian First Nations boarding scthools which effectively operated more as prisons of minority people to forcibly assiminate them into mainstream culture.
No matter how evil xi Jinping whitewash this evil scheme of educating tibetan children in modern terms to erase a culture, we all know that Tibetan boarding schools are nearly identical to colonial boarding schools that operated in Canada, where children perished and died due to severe physical and pyshocolocal torture. Those children who adopted white christian culture had even worse fate. Those were rejected by the natives they hail from, but they were also rejected by white people in their workplace and society because white people think – look, these people turned their back on their own people, and instead of fighting for their freedom, they are here with us to join us mainstream people, but they really aren’t mainstream people at all, they should stick to where they belong based on how they truly feel inside.. This is a very tragic situation.
China should stop Canadian colonial boarding schools. two wrongs doesn’t make one right.

They become shy and withdrawn and can’t raise their head up in society once a child was physically beaten by elders, whether it is a brother or sister, or father or mother or foster parents or teachers, doesn’t matter. Start a petitition globally to start any form of beating of Tibetan children in boarding school by teachers. This is child abuse, and a criminal offennce,and United Nations should intervene in this case.

The name of this act is colonial subjugation. Tibetans are a subjugated people under brutal Chinese communist military occupation. Tibetan people are treated as subhumans because the Chinese state has dehumanized Tibetans for a long long time! Owing to Israel’s dehumanization of Palestinians, no matter how Palestinians are bombed and killed no country except Ireland and South Africa empathize with their unspeakable condition in Gaza! More than 45000 Palestinians have been slaughtered so far by Israel! The CCP has dehumanized Tibetans to such a level that Tibetan lives are as cheap as that of a fly! When it comes to employment, the Chinese colonizers in Tibet openly advertise the payment discrepancy between Tibetans and Chinese colonizers. Tibetans are paid only half the amount that is paid to a Chinese worker for the same work. When it comes to supply of electricity for the population, the Chinese have much more powerful electric supply than Tibetans in occupied Tibet. All the high rise building, the expensive cars, the super markets belong to the Chinese while all the plumb jobs are all given to the Chinese! Tibetans are doing the back breaking manual jobs for a pittance! Most exile Tibetans doesn’t even seem to know what is colonialism but are taken by fuzzy idea of friendship with the Chinese! The late Chinese dissident Harry Wu said, “you may consider the Chinese your brothers and sisters but the Chinese don’t see you as their brothers and sisters”! This is a man who supports Tibetan independence! He told the Dalai Lama, Tibet must fight for independence! There are extremely few Chinese who supports Tibetan independence. All those Chinese who are supposed to be Tibet supporters would not dare to support Tibetan independence because they will be called traitors by their own kind and they themselves have the imperialist imprint of the “Middle Kingdom”which claims lands and countries that does not belong to them! All of them are infected by the historical imperialist Chinese mentality. All countries that were colonised by white colonizers resented colonization and subjugation by fighting against them. The Indians which Tibetans will be more familiar never accepted British rule but nursed hatred of the British. It culminated in the sepoy rebellion of 1857 after Mangal Pandey was hanged for revolt against the British. Gandhiji, in the 1930s started the Dandi March as civil disobedience against British rule and demanded Britain to QUIT INDIA! Jallianwala Bagh massacre was a catalyst for mass movement for India’s independence when General Reginald Dyer ordered his men to shoot into a gathering of Sikhs celebrating Vaisakhi! All throughout the British rule, Indians resented British rule. However, the Tibetan Movement is embracing Chinese occupation and colonisation and are being told to embrace the enemy rather than resent the enemy! This happened only with Tibetans nobody else. The Chinese themselves resented Mongol rule in China and fought against it. They resented Manchu rule over China and fought against it. But the Tibetans are told to embrace Chinese rule over Tibet and have become apologists of Chinese occupation of Tibet. The Palestinians are resenting Israeli occupation of their land and are fighting for it and look what a terrible price they are paying. But are they going to give up? NEVER! They sing “ from river to sea- Palestine will be free”! They have never given up on the ownership of their land that spans from the Jorden river to the Mediterranean Sea! This includes the entirety of State of Israel in addition to Gaza and West Bank! Hamas does not accept the existence of Israel. That is why, Israel wants to eliminate them. However, they can kill people but cannot kill an idea! Tibetans must change their wimpish attitude and fight the Chinese occupier. Otherwise, we will be forever treated like this little boy! This photo is a metaphor of Tibet under Chinese Illegal occupation. The child is slapped, kicked and beaten without the slightest mercy by the big bully China man! That he is such a small child is of no consequence to the China man either! Anything, no matter how cruel and inhuman can be done to him because he is a Tibetan! This is what communist China is doing to the Tibetan people! Peaceful Tibetan protestors have their hands and feet bound together and thrown them into police vans like luggages. They kick them in their groin mercilessly, they use nail studded batons on self immolators, insert electric batons in the mouth and nun’s vagina! Yet, Tibetans are told to love these tormentors! Tibetans have the right to be angry and hate the Chinese! They invaded and occupied our country and not vice versa! Therefore, we must stand our ground and fight both with non-violent means but must be prepared to take arms as well! Not even animals relinquish their territory. How can Tibetans relinquish our country to a foreign occupier who has taken our country by force! Those who advocate the relinquishing of our country to the oppressor have to answer the treatment meted to this innocent Tibetan child! Is it alright for a tiny toddler to be treated with such brutality in front of everybody? Is this the fate Tibetans are happy to live with under Chinese oppression for perpetuity? ONE MILLION TIBETAN CHILDREN FORCIBLY REMOVED FROM THEIR FAMILY ARE UNDERGOING THE SAME CRUELTY AND MISTREATMENT BY THE THUGGISH COMMUNIST REGIME IN ITS COLONIAL BOARDING SCHOOLS! We had report of four little monks on the verge of committing suicide by jumping into a nearby river owing to such brutal treatment!
It is an INCREDIBLY different situation with israel Palestine and is impossible to compare ..isrsel is the homeland also for jews going back 1000s of years and they are up against truly disgusting Islamic extremists ..thry haven’t “slaughtered” 45000 civilans.
