Taktser Rinpoche Plans to Launch “March for Tibet’s Independence”

FISHERS, Ind.-On June 27th at 9am, Taktser Rinpoche (Professor Thubten Jigme Norbu) is planning to help launch the 100-mile “March for Tibet’s Independence” from China’s Consulate in New York (520 12th Avenue). Rinpoche also plans to be on hand to receive the walkers at the conclusion of the “March” on July 4th at Independence Hall in Philadelphia.

Twenty-four Tibetans and three supporters from India, New York, Massachusetts, California, Chicago, Indiana, Philadelphia, New Hampshire, Maryland, and Virginia will complete this year’s walk.
