To rinchenpo.I just read your comments on Feb.4th.2006, baffled me.I am a Tibetan.
While your comments on Dec.15th.07 was commendable your 02-04-06 comment is rather patty. While hundreds of us come on this comment section we come with different level of educational standards. So therefore let us concentrate on the thoughts and opinions expressed rather than judging one another as to who knows or knows not what and how much.Pardon me but I've been cherry picking your comments. So I picked the best and the worst.I hope you won't mind

I love the comments' section more than the article itself. Thanks to all who commented. My response to rinchenpo-your comments, very true,I agree.Do not stop writing. You're very straight forward and to the point. My late father lost all his life long savings to Pema Tsewang but I hope in time his good conscience 'll prevail. To bhoemi-we're Tibetans. We can handle criticisms.Id say bring it on!.To rameshindia- B around Tibs. you'll understand us better. But thanks for being a critic on Tibetan matter. It's a good thing.

Look at the words that this previous commenter used. How could you let this happen? It's a disgrace. Whereas my innocent comments were censored earlier you put in this one!!! Wake up phayul moderators, don't let a perfectly good news site be ruined by dirty comments.

Dear Kunga Tsering la,
it's indeed very sad that you are a Tibetan who sold his soul for money, not because you understood the Chinese well, but because you got angry at some Tibetans who did not agree with the way you chose your way of making your living. You took advantage of the Chinese stupidity.I do not think Tibs were jelous of your black marketing .

To all my younger Tibetans, let us not be patty. You all are belittling the great works of our brave heroes by picking on each other for no good reasons. If likes of you are Tibetan brothers and sisters, then who needs enemies. In a family you don't see who does what so long as family business is taken care of.We have bigger issues to deal with.So stay strong and united.

khampas never were the fisrt one to welcome PLA.BUT IT WAS RATHER the people living in amdo which shared borders wid china.but they welcomed the chinese due to autocracy of tibetan kudrags.they were pissed of by their tyranny.i think the blame goes to tibetan kudrags for our misery rite now.and pls people dont blame on khampas.we all know those who r writting such things about rongdoings of khampa have no idea as such.and people who r disrupting chushi gangdruk activities are gyami sowa or those who dont aprriciate their struggle.so pls dont disrupt and complain about chushi gangdruk n khampa people.let usdo our own thing n others do their own .in the end we call and work for a free tibet.

To Fagan

I don’t want to argue with you just in case if you are Khampa,
But here are some historical facts:

When Khampas are “proud” and stay “quiet”, look what happened.
Alog Choenze was the first Tibetan who stood up against the Chinese calling for independence.
He organized People’s Party in Lhasa which was under the Chinese control.
This party was the first movement against the Chinese.
After they lost the war, he started building Tibetan settlements in India to have
Tibetan Community stay together and preserve our culture and religion.
For the settlement project he started corn business but unfortunately lost just
60 thousand rupies which is by exchange rate now equals to $1500.
All U-Tsang people were accusing him of being a thief.
He gave back everything he got but still they brought him and his family to Indian Court in the name of H.H. Dalai Lama.

When the court clerk started to read the name of Dalai Lama he versed to him,
Alan Choenze was shocked and withdrew his argument and said he wanted to see H.H. Dalai Lama in person and explain the matter to him.

Unfortunately he never had the chance to see Dalai Lama:
When he came to Dharamsala, Tibetan Women’s Association
beat him up and almost murdered him never giving the chance to see Dalai Lama.

So, he had to flee back to Tibet to save his life.

Now a man from U-Tsang in Bylakope, his name is house number 93 Pema Tsewang, who was U-Tsang’s deputy in our Parliament, lured about $25 mln. (100 ml. rupies) from monasteries, settlements and individuals and moved with his family to U.S.
Tibetan Women’s Association were expressing their condolence on his business failure giving him khatas and 5 thousand rupees.

There is another man from U-Tsang who lives in New-Jersey.
According to the audit reports, while he was the head of the Potala Cooperation, he suffered a loss of US$ 218,643.85 due to financial mismanagement, in addition to a shortage of US$ 47,712.19 drawn in the personal account of Mr Kongtsa.
Where is our cry from U-Tsang people? Where is Women’s Tibetan Association now?
Hope you got the picture.

To be silent does not mean to be proud. It means being dumb.
Freedom of speech is our best right.
By the way, making fun of someone who does not have
education is not the smartest thing to do.
Standing up to what you believe and speaking up the truth is Khampa’s proud.

All men are created equal (U.S.Declaration of Independence)
