I heartily welcome and thank Mr. Daniel Garret for his article on the importance of protecting Tibet's environment - issue of life and death situation for the land and its people.

Tibet is always the deliberate first victim of China's brute worldly greets. First it was victim of China's expansionism and now it is victim of China's insatiable materialism

Thank you for writting about this critical issue. international community can and should really put pressure on China to stop further destruction of Tibet's land and environment. China by their brute force can impose thier "factory civilization" and "disney culture" on the tibetans. but the tibetans are resilient people. We have strong cultural and identity resilience. But china's zero respect for environment and their need to produce and produce will soon turn Tibet into a wasteland if its not stopped.
