Subject: non-violent hero
May 20 2012 10:01 AM

Individual initiating is much more powerful. Of-course, neither TCA is urging any one to take such an extreme measure for Tibetan problem solving; nor having any power to stop any Tibetan to do individual part. So Tsedan Dorjee's family members are among of many our hero. Their selfless action is contributing very affect way to show how serious time it is for us take action now. I really want to say my heart felt thank you for Tsedan-la's Amala and younger sister for their sacrificing for us Tibetans. Of-course Tsedan Dorjee-la is one of highest nonviolent hero, and I wish every ones respect non-violent action including Chinese Communist Regime. His action is no different and Martin Luther King Jr, Mahatma-Gandhi and etc. We must unite all Tibetan together for our common goal to rescue Tibetans in side of Tibet and restore Tibetan right as all men in this world deserve. Losing our birth rights and country for nearly 60 yrs is too long. It makes me feel like it is time for us to make the justice done for our people now even one person will be left last. AS democratic society, it is very important to build power of state by the people , for the people , of the people. So Tsedan-la’s initiation is best way to show us to take individual responsibility to shape the nation for next level with no matter what.

Subject: Red flag
May 20 2012 03:25 AM

I am glad to hear the kashag's statement that it does not endorse those carrying red flag in our struggle for freedom and justice. I urge the Tibetan parliament in exile to clarify their position on this too. I would find it extremely difficult to accept and rather insulting to our cause of carrying red flag in any of our freedom activities. The flag generally symbolizes ones nationhood or identitis however in a battle it symbolizes which side you are fighting for. It represents a shared goal, history and sentiment of a community.
