The Exile Govt. in Dharamsala and its coordinators have just only one tibetan settlement - that is Bylakuppe/its neighbours and of course Dharamsala.

Be it Visitors, Donors, immigraton, stipend and Charities...it is almost reserved for D^sa and South. After 60 Years, the very same attitude and system. Alas ! What a sad Democracy development.

Subject: US assistance for Tibetans
Feb 12 2011 07:27 AM

I hope that Undersecretary Otero will see that Tibetans in exile still need financial & humanitarian assistance from the U.S. US aid is vital to the preservation of Tibetan culture & our struggle for freedom & self-determinatin.

I and fellow Tibet supporters will be on Capitol Hill to lobby Congress to continue to financially support Tibetan programs & for legislation to help 3,000 Tibetans immigrate to the US. In particular, Tibetan refugees in Nepal are at risk for deportation back to Tibet where they will face persecution & reprisals from China.

Egyptians have shown the world that people power can end tyranny & corruption. Now we Tibetans must learn from the Egyptians & take to the streets in Tibet & around the world to protest the ongoing repression by the Chinese Govt against the Tibetan people.
