President Obama and his Chinese counterpart, Hu Jintao, will discuss such issues when they meet next month in Beijing.

In addition to climate change, first topic on their agenda, the two leaders will discuss economic and military cooperation.

Human rights organisations have called on the US leader to ask Hu to answer questions about human rights violations in China. So far, the White House has NOT AGRRED.

China!Oh!China! What can I say?Did you all see how quickly they stepped up to campaign against HHDL's visit to the western world;especially to the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA?!!Yes!this is as a direct result of our president's refusal to meet HHDL in September. To president Obama:sir, you give China an inch and she'll ask for Texas.Believe me.Do you know sir, what China is doing to India right now?For heaven's sake. This is a government,a regime that leaves infants dry to death in special chambers of death. And you are not going to put human rights on the top most priority on the list of your agenda.Your previous two Obama top most officials have not spoken firmly on human rights during their earlier visits to China. And now you'll be visiting the most abusive regime on earth next month and the whole world will be watching the world's most looked up to president of the most powerful nation in the world.Sir, it's your show time to prove the Noble committee members right!!!Please do not let them down ,and please do not let Tibetans down.(Four sentenced to death several days ago in Tibet)we are only six million Tibetans on earth. We are world's some of the most peace loving people, and we are harmless even to the Chinese.World needs people like Tibetans .Do not sell us cheap. Please!!

Noble peace prize for Obama is laughable and wealthless.

Why Obama?????

He did nothing for world peace and human rights.
there are so many people who did so much for the world peace and envronment even human rights in so many countries. why Obama?

I think noble Peace prize is becoming trash now.

Subject: Obama delaying meeting with Dalai Lama

US President Barack Obama's decision to delay meeting with Dalai Lama during the later's first visit to Washington since Obama's presidency proved unwise and gave wrong signal to China and world. It cannot be replaced by any comment or excuse. Done is done and its too late to explain. Already China became bolder to execute Tibetans without restrain. Sad step but Tibetans are not to blame.

He is going to be a worse leader than Bush. Just waite and see. He is a socialist at heart and hence the retreat on Human rights. The word deny is a way of lying.

Subject: biggest advocate OBAMA??

to say Obama is biggest advocate of humanrights would be totally wrong or to early at this moment, people like nelson mandela, Aung San Suu Kyi deserves more to be called biggest advocates of human rights. certainly, His Holiness the Dalai Lama would top the list of biggest advocates of Human Rights.

I don't think it matters what anyone says in the Obama camp it is a fact that Obama has retreated on Human rights as far as China is concerned!
It's plain to see for anyone!

The relationship with China comes first so the US can make as much money from the relationship as possble and so salvage it's ailing economy.

After all this has been secured by kowtowing to the chinese maybe, but only maybe some lipsevice will be paid to Human rights!
But ofcourse only in a manner not to upset China.

Obama has already become a big disappointment to me and I'm sure to many more moral people.

Obama a Nobel peaceprize winner??

WHY????????????????????????????????
