for thuptenla's attention

maybe its because of my ignorance that i am not aware of the presence of one such poet, author and film maker in our society. so after finishing what you have written on rinpoche... once, i went back again to read it for the second time and felt so bad. such a shallow person you are i never can imagine. by the way, is it an epidemic among the so called tibetan intellectuals to use the few words they have learn t to criticize and go against their own government? if one is so capable, the opportunity is always there moreover for such intellectuals like you who thinks the world is in his own palms. so why don't you do something and prove yourself instead of using empty words against the ones who is working in the field? people like you are such sham, anti social and a dust to the society. if you can't do anything yourself, then stop saying all these nonsense. you should atleast have enough knowledge of what you are writing because this is a platform for many of our own people who are new to their own society to know it better. so please, mind your language.this is your responsibility.

To Chi Yuen relying to oct-27-05.

Dear Chi Yuen, remember this for the rest of your life, that, Tibet will be a "Free and Independent"nation like it once was.You mark my words. You said some thing about us not being cordial and respectful to each other. You are right about that. But what you failed to understand is our honest and open expressions unlike double standard Chinese, hiding filthy lies behind.Out of 1.3or more billions of people a few came out as learned people, you find no end to your joy.For your information we in exile are 99.9 percent young Tibetans in exile are literate .In Tibet under the Chinese rule majority of the Tibetans are not even literate.Let alone intellectuals. You were saying some thing about curtsy and respect.you are in no position to criticize the Tibetans for you are not qualified for that .Because you do not understand human dignity, or humanity,or human rights, or human-beings freedom to speech, or respect for human lives, respect for some ones culture -heritage.What do you know of any of these ? Do you even know China has the world's worst human rights record thus far?So what cordial? What respectful are you talking about when you have no respect for human lives as evidenced by 'Tianenman square massacre on June 4th 1989 and still an on going thing in Tibet and in China. Therefore it's in the best of your interest for you to stay away from those words to save your skin.

keep ur courage but don't be so fool
Apr 07 2009 05:05 PM
your article seems to be your view but is not necessary that you have to be right and one thing is that i hope you are educated one, so from the point of science the supernatural power is just seems as one story that used to tell to once who is kids and hope you take it so serious that mean your kid. In sense you don't have to discourage with the situation that the high lama are not using there power to make tibet free, that is totally wrong my brother because the tibet is not only belongs to those high lama and some special person, therefore, first you have to make you mind much wide and do what you can do for tibet cause that the great idea i think. i know you are anger with what had happen in tibet this recent year all this cause are not the result of todays. its the F***ing red chinese rule that made hate in people's mind and what there freedom. so likewise we can change our poor tibet into freedom and independent tibet by change that you have to take from today by yourself not to dependent other. So i think the responsibility is for all of us tibetan. so why you wait for rinpochen to put action ? till then free tibet(rangzen)

I like it..!

That was quite a story you wrote brother, I should have read it before but never mind, it was some true tangled feeling where I often get caught. I really don't know if the Rinpoches got any magical powers or not but definitely I too had burnt my last penny in the Torkyag! You know, to wage the supernatural war against Chinese demons. I hope my penny might have come of any use then. Whereas our policies are concern, I struggle for independence but my hope is in autonomy. I respect our prime minister, I also accept him as a learnt scholar, but he would have served the nation best if he is the Director of Tibetan Library and Archives. (This is strictly my personal view) As for politics is concern, I guess we are the resident of far far away kingdom! You are right, there are hundreds who dies in Tibet these days but leave only two line message before they die. And that only two lines would be sufficient enough to haunt me whole my life if I continue to accept defeat before the actual war began. But I would rather do what I do right now with my own philosophy, struggle for Independent, but prepare for the autonomy for the better day of Tibet and Tibetism.

I just wonder how many of you here have ever learn and (or) practice Buddhism with a little conviction, especially the mahayana vajrayana to really come up with such conclusive comments? I wonder just so that i could take your comments a little bit more seriously.

DOES BUDDHISM NEED PROTECTION?
Apr 15 2008 11:55 PM
All the major world religions have one thing in common and that is superstition and the necessity of faith in absence of evidence to be a follower of them. Buddhism, which started as a philosophy has today degenerated into a religion of rituals, superstitions and blind faith. In case of Tibetan society the situation is far worse due to mixture of religion with politics. Buddhism has been twisted and modified to suite the benefits of a few in Tibetan societies. Because of hundreds of years of indoctrination and suppression of real knowledge Tibetans today have an almost unshakable blind faith in their lamas as if they are God and waste no time in striking down those who criticize them by calling them enemies of Buddhism or even enemies of Tibet. Most Lamas, while preaching to the masses to shun materialism surround themselves with wealth and power and even lead questionable lifestyles. And when they are caught breaking their vows or going against Buddhist teachings, their blind followers quickly defend their actions by calling them “Zepa”. These lamas and monasteries operate like big corporations amassing huge wealth by preying on credulous masses while producing nothing of material value for the society. There are thousands of monks in these huge monasteries, what is their contribution to society I wonder. And if there is any contribution of value as many would claim there is, aren’t those contribution not attainable without having these huge institutions full of unemployed/underemployed youths and rich lamas? Are they necessary to promote and protect Buddhism? What kind of Buddhism are they protecting and promoting? Can’t Buddhism protect and promote itself if it has intrinsic universal values?
