Around 30 odd Tibetans from across Italy joined at around 2.30 in the afternoon today to commemorate the 47th 10th March Uprising Day.

Around 800 Tibetans and supporters thronged at the Union Square Park to mark the 47th anniversary of the Tibetan National Uprising Day in New York.

Tibetans and local friends of Tibet will join in Seattle Downtown (front of Westlake Mall from 3-6pm) to commemorate the 47th Anniversary of Tibetan National Uprising Day on Friday, March 10, 2006 in solidarity with demonstrations around the world.

More than 50 Tibetans and Tibet supporters braved the cold weather in Paris today to witness the hoisting of the Tibetan National Flag at the regional Council of Ile de France.
